  Walking through the gate of Ha Thái, past the village pagoda and the community blackboard, feels like stepping back in time. One of the thousands of craft villages that emerged in the 11th Century to produce the goods needed for the imperial capital of Hanoi, Ha Thái is a place that harks back to the past while reaching out eagerly to the future.
