Inspired by the eclectic and free-spirited fashion sense of women like Maithili Ahuwalia, Stephanie von Watzdorf, and Tamu McPherson we went in search of what it means to be a well-styled traveler.
It turns out that the most stylish global gypsies we know are the ones that don’t take themselves too seriously, and who walk to the beat of their own drum (quite possibly sporting some of these stylish kicks). To us, it all comes down to the types of stories we want to tell with the clothes that we wear. Whatever your style, you can slip on pair of jeans, a simple tee-shirt and mix things up with an embroidered tribal jacket, an ikat scarf, or a talismanic tuareg pendant.
This month we took to the streets of San Francisco with the beautiful Lakshmi to try on some of the treasures that we have brought back from our travels.
