We bought these charming little stamps from Pham Duc Tri, a master craftsman on Hanoi’s Hang Quat street. Taught the art of stamp carving from his grandfather, Pham has been making stamps for the past twenty years. Carving the intricate designs into the soft long muc wood, requires him to spend his days in a state of high concentration. One slight mistake would waste hours of work.
