  Then again, a hot drink on a hot day is totally acceptable too. Green tea is the preferred beverage throughout most of the country, and teahouses, or "choyxona," are a cultural institution, where you can almost always find retirees (affectionately called bobos) sipping tea and playing cards. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon!
