  Amidst the warren of shops on Hang Quat street in the Old Quarter, is wooden cookie mold carver and philosopher, Phan Van Quang. Born into the carving trade, he lives above his shop in a space that he shares with the family next door. Besides being a master craftsman, Phan studies faces and astrology charts to tell people their fortune.
