  Across the street is the shop of wooden stamp carver Pham Duc Tru. Having learnt the craft from his grandfather, Pham has been carving stamps for 20 years. Although he now largely caters to tourists, his traditional stamps have been used on book covers as well as making their way into good health and good luck ceremonies
